Call to Order:
The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Finance Committee Meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 3:01PM on August 29, 2022, in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365. The Presiding officer was Stanley Gourley, Chairman.
YCAA FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT WERE:

Reetika Dhawan, Director (attended the meeting electronically, she exited the meeting at 4:20PM)
YCAA FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT WERE:
Albert Gardner, Director

Gladys Brown, Airport Director
Gerald Hinkle, Jr., Chief Financial Officer
Eric Weick, IT Director (exited the meeting at 3:10PM)

There were no Public Comments.
REGULAR AGENDA
1) Discussion and overview of FY22 Budget in the Final Quarter.
Ms. Brown, Airport Director, provided a brief overview of the status of the YCAA’s FY22 Budget through July of 2022. Mr. Hinkle then proceeded to go over the presentation in some detail. Ms. Brown followed by presenting staff’s projection on how FY22 will finish, including projections and estimates on revenues and expenses through September of 2022. After a discussion of the trends apparent in the data, the Committee expressed their understanding and satisfaction with the airport’s financial situation through July.
2) Discussion and possible recommendation on the Proposed FY23 Budget for the Yuma County Airport Authority.
The Airport Director, Ms. Brown presented the Proposed FY23 Budget in some detail. After a discussion on many points of interest, Mr. Craft, noted the conservative estimates of rent car concession revenues included in the proposed budget and requested that particular line item be increased by $100,000. This change was agreed upon by the Members present and was the only change requested. After a significant discussion about future investments at Rolle Airfield Airport, as well as other major projects slated for the near future, the Committee agreed unanimously, to recommend the FY23 Proposed Budget be presented, as adjusted, to the Board of Directors at the September 13, 2022, regular meeting for authorization.
